So what’s shadow work?
Shadow work explores the unconscious reasons behind your feelings or behaviors, particularly uncomfortable emotions that seem out of character or beyond your control. Jung described the shadow as “the thing a person has no wish to be” or our “blind spots.”
Shadow work is the process of identifying your shadow - commonly known as the “dark side,”- embracing and integrating it instead of avoiding, rejecting, or dismissing it.
-->Have you ever felt like the term, “shadow work” has some kind of weird, illusive, mysterious, “what does that even mean” feel?
-->Have you ever wondered what the process of “shadow work” actually looks like?
-->Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the amount of “shadows” you have to process, and you aren’t sure where to start?
You’re not alone.
We felt the same way, and that is why we created this workshop for YOU.
In this workshop, we are breaking it way down.
In a kinky, playful, somatic way.
Shadow work doesn’t have to be this big, dark, overwhelming process where you have to unravel the whole ball of yarn that you feel is your life.
It can be simpler than that.
We want to show you how.
Cool….Okay….so, why is shadow work important?
When we embrace our shadow (aka the hidden or “darker” aspects of ourselves we don’t show the world for fear of being judged or misperceived) there is gold on the other side.
We dance with the shadow to honor and embrace the wholeness, and messiness of our humanity. To stop bypassing, repressing, and avoiding the crunchy parts. We dance with the shadow to illuminate what parts of ourselves that need healing.
There is GOLD in the shadow.
So you have the what and the why, here is the how →
Imagine this:
A safe, judgment-free space with other women.
Small group container.
Juicy, guided somatic practices.
Authentic, and vulnerable conversation.
2 embodied facilitators.
We are going to get real in this workshop.
You will leave feeling empowered with tools to be in relationship with and uncover your shadow.
You will be tenderly held, and lovingly witnessed in the parts of you that you might hide under a mask.
It’s time for us to get together and discuss what we feel is holding us back. Maybe share some things that were left unsaid.
Let's celebrate each other in our shadows.
