Rhythm & Roots

Begin in relaxation, move through heart opening yoga flow, work up to dance & and back down into meditation. Integrated into this practice is ancient ritual honoring the 4 elements, the 4 directions 🧭, our ancestors & reviving the ancient spirit within us ALL.

✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼✊🏻

This practice is great for connection, commUnity building, manifesting, releasing & reflection. Dance is a bridge with the ability to build connections, not only with one another but with the deep wisdom 🔐 locked within YOUR DNA 🧬. Dance has the ability to transform the way we feel in an instant. Dance can transform pain to power, power to purpose & and purpose into fulfillment.

An ancient tool we ALL have access to… dance!

“Jenna and I first met at Buti Yoga teacher training about a decade ago. She has since expanded her practice as an indigenous ceremony and ritual guide, and conscious dance/yoga guide. She is in Minneapolis THIS weekend only. Don’t miss this. “ -Teacher Koreen

More from Jenna:

“Rhythm and roots is the physical manifestation of the evolution of my relationship to dance, music, culture and Earth. As an indigenous Colombian woman who was adopted as an infant and raised in white western culture, I felt an undeniable connection to my indigenous identity. As a child I could never articulate or identify what this feeling actually was. I was sure, I was quiet, I was observant. It was a subconscious knowing. A grounding or feeling of reassurance and safety I found from within. Music was my spirit’s first prompt to return. Once I connected to original sound, (the music of indigenous cultures worldwide), it lit a spark that has now turned into a full on flame. I am guided by my ancestors to remind people of all origins of who they are and to remind our DNA of the thousands of years of wisdom held inside our bones. I want to bring ceremonial dance back to every community and refine the way we treat ourselves, our neighbors and our Earth. It is all connected, armonía.”
